This mesh-capable wireless router that provides WiFi coverage while handling multiple active devices was announced back in early October and now can be acquired as a single unit for $129 USD or as a trio, for $299 USD.
After being unveiled back in early October, the Google Wifi router is now finally reaching the market. However, this router has been available for pre-order during the last three weeks as well, so its arrival is not a surprise.
Google Wifi is quite expensive for a router, but it has been designed to be paired with multiple units, thus being capable to cover a wider area. According to the official product page, "Google Wifi is a new type of connected system that replaces your router for seamless coverage throughout your home." Depending on the area to cover, the customer might need one Wifi point (up to 1,500 square feet), two (between 1,500 and 3,000 square feet), or three (offering a coverage of up to 4,500 square feet).
The price of one Google Wifi unit (also referred to as point) is $129 USD, but those looking for a good deal can grab a package of three units for $299 USD.

In my early school days, I hated writing and having to make up stories. A decade later, I started to enjoy it. Since then, I published a few offline articles and then I moved to the online space, where I contributed to major websites that are still present online as of 2021 such as Softpedia, Brothersoft, Download3000, but I also wrote for multiple blogs that have disappeared over the years. I've been riding with the Notebookcheck crew since 2013 and I am not planning to leave it anytime soon. In love with good mechanical keyboards, vinyl and tape sound, but also smartphones, streaming services, and digital art.
