The Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime 2 smartphone has shown up on the South Korean company’s Indian website. The specifications listed by Samsung for the 5.5-inch device include an octa-core 1.6 GHz CPU from the Exynos 7 Series, 3 GB RAM, 32 GB ROM, and 13 MP rear and front-facing cameras. It is believed the listing may have been posted by mistake.

A listing for the Galaxy J7 Prime 2 has appeared on the Samsung India website. The device comes in a metal unibody and the 5.5-inch Full HD display features a Gorilla Glass finish. The smartphone’s specifications mention it being powered by an Exynos 7 Series processor; it has been speculated that the CPU could be the Exynos 7870 which has been used in other phones from Samsung, such as the Galaxy J7 Pro (2017) and the Galaxy J5 (2017).

Other details, which are still currently showing on the Samsung India website at the time of writing, include 3 GB RAM, 32 GB ROM with MicroSD external memory support (up to 256 GB), 13 MP selfie camera with an f/1.9 aperture for shooting in low-light conditions, 13 MP main camera, and Android Nougat as OS. The phone features proprietary software such as Samsung Mall which enables an expedited shopping experience when the user takes a photo of a desired item, and Samsung Pay Mini for making payments with the device.

Samsung’s India website shows a price of INR 13,990 (~US$215) for the new phone, but it is currently “sold out”. It remains to be seen whether the Galaxy J7 Prime 2 will be officially announced in the near future.
