Fusion-packing HP 3105m now on sale

Teaser
HP's new 3105m is actually a Pavilion DM1z rebranded for business consumers, now available for $449

HP’s Pavilion DM1z has been one of the more popular AMD Fusion notebooks out there, but unfortunately its style isn’t very suitable for most business meetings. As a solution, HP has rebranded their 11.6” notebook as the HP 3105m and redesigned it to better suit the office place.

The 3105m notebook packs the same E-350 Fusion processor and AMD Radeon HD 6310 graphics as the DM1z but differs in some subtle points. The notebook's base package comes with 2GB of RAM instead of 3GB and also offers a variety of OS options including Windows 7, Linux and FreeDOS OS. Otherwise, the notebook can be customized with up to 8GB of RAM, up to a 320GB 7200RPM HDD and will come with an 11.6” BrightView display with a resolution of 1366x768 pixels. Thanks to the included 55Whr 6-cell battery, the 3105m should be able to last around 9.5 hours and also weigh only 3.2lb (1.6kg) overall.

The HP 3105m can now be purchased from HP’s online store for $449.
