Fujitsu unveils the Arrows Tab F-05E tablet in Japan

The Tokyo-headquartered manufacturer Fujitsu has launched a new tablet, called Arrows Tab F-05E. Reportedly, the slate PC runs on an Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system and will be available through NTT DoCoMo mobile operator in Japan.

Apparently, the dust- and waterproof F-05E measures 9.9mm at its thickest point and comes equipped with a Quad-Core NVIDIA Tegra 3 System-On-Chip that operates at a frequency of 1.7GHz. In addition, the latest member of the Arrows Tab Series sports a 10.1-inch capacitive WUXGA touchscreen display with a maximum supported resolution of 1920-by-1200 pixels.

Under the hood, Fujitsu’s new tablet offers 2GB of RAM and 32GB of flash storage that is expandable by utilizing the integrated microSD media card reader slot. Users are further provided with Wireless LAN 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and LTE (Docomo’s Xi LTE network) modules; an HDMI output, built-in access to the Nottv channel and an 8.1MP rear-facing camera for shooting pictures/video.

The Arrows Tab F-05E comes with stereo speakers, fingerprint reader for enhanced security and weighs 589g with its high-capacity 10,080mAh battery.
