Reviews for the Fujitsu Lifebook AH530MF112DE
Price conscious all-rounder. Fujitsu tries to prove that strong multimedia notebooks don't have to cost around 1000 euro right away, with the Lifebook AH530. A new Intel dual core CPU and a mysterious ATI Radeon HD 550v GPU are the ingredients for this purpose.

ATI Mobility Radeon HD 550v: Slower clocked HD 4650 (based on the same chip) and also Mobility Radeon HD 4630 called graphics card that is still produced in 55nm and supports DirectX 10.1.
Modern games should be playable with these graphics cards at low settings and resolutions. Casual gamers may be happy with these cards.

370M: The Core i3-370M is a fast clocked Core i3. The TurboBoost, AES, VTd, and Trusted Execution functions are deactivated in the i3-series. Therefore, it always clocks with max. 2.4 GHz (of course Speedstep is included). Thanks to Hyperthreading, 4 threads can be processed simultaneously. An integrated graphics card (GMA HD) and a DDR3 memory controller are also included in the package.» Further information can be found in our Comparison of Mobile Processsors.
15.6": 15 inch display-variants are the standard and are used for more than the half of all notebooks. 15.4 inch display with 16:10 are the standard for notebook displays. However nowadays, more and more 16:9 displays with 15.6 inch appear. The reason why so many people like displays with medium size is, that this size is not exhausting for the eyes, does not need too much energy and the laptops can be kept quite compact.» To find out how fine a display is, see our DPI List.
2.5 kg: This notebook is lighter than the average of all notebooks. It is too heavy for sub-notebooks. 14 inch displays are normal for this class of weight.
Fujitsu: Fujitsu, founded 1935, is a Japanese company specializing in semiconductors, air conditioners, computers (supercomputers, personal computers, servers), telecommunications, and services, and is headquartered in Tokyo. Fujitsu employs around 160,000 people and has 500 subsidiary companies. The partnership with Siemens AG was established in 1999 in the form of Fujitsu Siemens Computers, one of Europe's largest IT hardware suppliers, and owned 50/50 by Fujitsu and Siemens. 2009, this cooperation was terminated. In future, no laptops will be sold with the brand "Fujitsu-Siemens" but only "Fujitsu".
79%: This rating is not convincing. The laptop is evaluated below average, this is not really a recommendation for purchase.
