Ubisoft has all but confirmed the launch of the next game in the Far Cry series, as well as some particularly important aspects of the title: its new location and main villain. The studio has indicated there may be more details at its imminent Forward event, which takes place tomorrow (July 12, 2020).

A leaker called Alex Richards has posted images that seem to show an accidental listing for the game Far Cry 6 on his PS4 network. Therefore, it seems this game is definitely on the way, and is headed for the platform. However, there are also indications that it can be transferred to the PS5 too.

The new leak also appears to confirm the main boss for the game, which is rumored to be set in a fictional isolated dictatorship called Yara. It is ruled by an Anton Castillo - who, according to this new evidence, is definitely to be played by Giancarlo Esposito (Breaking Bad, etc.).

The game series' maker has reacted to this new spill through a tweet of its own simply reading: "Anton would not be pleased. See you on Sunday at #UbiForward." This event, also known as Ubisoft Forward, is scheduled to begin on July 12, 2020.

As this post also includes a video clip that could be part of a trailer featuring Esposito's new character, it now looks as though we can look forward to more teasers of the Far Cry 5Far Cry 5 is released and receives Nvidia Game Ready driver successor at this juncture.
