DosPara launched the Prime Note Galleria QF540 notebook
The Japanese PC manufacturer, DosPara, has just introduced a new powerful bur also quite portable computer. The device is reportedly targeted towards gaming and multimedia fans as well as professionals on-the-move, who require a notebook capable of handling performance-needy applications. All models can apparently be further customized before placing the actual order.
Reportedly, a second generation Sandy Bridge Intel Core i7-2630QM central processing unit is to be found under the hood. Ranked 15 in our CPU Benchmark List, this processor packs four cores, each with a clock frequency of 2.GHz (up to 2.9GHz thanks to Turbo Boost 2.0) and offers Hyper Threading support complemented by 45W max. TDP (Thermal Design Power).
The company claims that the Prime Note Galleria QF540 is perfect for 3D gaming with its Full HD LED-backlit 15.6-inch LCD widescreen display that has a maximum supported resolution of 1920-by-1080 pixels. Graphics are taken care by an NVIDIA GeForce GT 540M video card (Optimus support, 3D Vision and DX11 support) with 1GB of dedicated DDR3/GDDR5 VRAM.
This high-performance laptop houses 8GB of internal DDR3 memory and a spacious mechanical hard drive (HDD, 5400rpm) with a storage capacity of 500GB. In addition, the whole system is built around an Intel HM65 Express Chipset and ships with up to a Blu-Ray Drive.
In terms of connectivity features, the QF540 is equipped with Wireless LAN and Bluetooth 3.0 + HS modules. Furthermore, it sports three USB ports (1xUSB 2.0 and 2xUSB 3.0), an HDMI interface and a 5-in-1 memory card reader slot. An integrated HD web camera can take care of your video conferencing needs.

According to the product page, the new powerful Galleria Series notebook will run a Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit operating system. Moreover, the system weighs 2.74kg with the built-in battery.
DosPara’s QF540 has a starting price of about US $1,200.
