Performance in abundance. Modern games require a large amount of graphics power to use high resolutions and maximum detail levels. Demanding users will therefore show a keen interest in dual-GPU notebooks such as the HellMachine by DevilTech, which is equipped with two Radeon HD 5870 graphics cards.

Double. After we had scrutinized the GeForce GTX 680M SLI a few weeks ago, an SLI configuration of two GTX-670MX-GPUs had to face up to our benchmarks. Deviltech was the first manufacturer to deliver such a 17-inch notebook. The curtain rises on the hell machine.
Comment
Deviltech:
Modern games should be playable with these graphics cards at low settings and resolutions. Casual gamers may be happy with these cards.
ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5870:
High-end DirectX 11 graphics card based on a desktop HD5770. Models with GDDR5 are ideal but there may be a bottleneck due to the 128 Bit memory bus.
ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5870 Crossfire:
The ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5870 Crossfire is a combination of two Mobility 5870 graphics cards. It suffers from micro stuttering in low framerates and has high power demands . The performance should be 0-80% better than a single Mobility 5870.
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 670MX SLI: High-end SLI-setup of two GeForce GTX 670MX, based on the Kepler-architecture and manufactured in 28nm.

Intel Core i7: The Intel Core i7 for laptops is based on the LG1156 Core i5/i7 CPU for desktops. The base clock speed of the CPUs is relatively low, but because of a huge Turbo mode, the cores can dynamically overclock to up to 3.2 GHz (920XM). Therefore, the CPU can be as fast as high clocked dual-core CPUs (using single threaded applications) but still offer the advantage of 4 cores. Because of the large TDP of 45 W / 55 W, the CPU is only intended for large laptops.
720QM: The Core i7-720QM is the slowes Core i7 Quad Core in 2009 and clocks between 1.6 and 2.8 GHz (due to the Turbo Mode). Therefore, it combines the advantages of a slow quad core CPU with a fast single core one. Compared to the faster Core i7 mobile CPUs, the 720QM only features 6MB L3 Cache.
3630QM: An Ivy Bridge-based quad-core processor clocked at 2.4 GHz with Turbo Boost support up to 3.4 GHz. Offers an integrated HD Graphics 4000 GPU and a dual channel DDR3 memory controller.

4.106 kg:
A laptop with this weight is comparatively heavy and less designed for mobility than for use at the desk. Therefore, the devices tend to shine less with battery life than with a large screen and higher performance.
5.5 kg:
82%: This rating is slightly above average, there are somewhat more devices with worse ratings. However, clear purchase recommendations look different.
