Details of the purported Xiaomi Mi A3 surface - 32 MP selfie camera, Snapdragon 675, triple rear cameras
Last week, a report by XDA-Developers revealed that Xiaomi has three devices in the works. Two of them will be Android One phones, and the third was touted to be the base MIUI device for one of the phones. Apparently, that third phone will be the Mi 9X.
The Mi 9X is expected to be a cheaper alternative to the Mi 9 flagship. Or even better put, a slightly toned down version of the Mi 9 SE. According to the source, the Mi 9X will feature a 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED. Like all new Xiaomi devices, there will be a waterdrop notch at the top.
The Mi 9X is expected to be powered by the same Snapdragon 675 that’s on the Redmi Note 7 Pro. It’s said to feature 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage. At the rear will be a triple camera setup that comprises of a 48 MP main camera, an 8 MP wide-angle, and another 8 MP sensor—likely a telephoto one. The selfie camera is a 32 MP sensor.
Under the hood will be a 3300 mAh battery with 18 W fast-charging support. The Mi 9X is expected to start at about US$250.
