Extremely smart but heavy, the 17.3" Dell Vostro 3750 laptop meets all the needs of the small business user with its bristling ports and slots, high performance CPU and switchable graphics technology plus practical support software.

The Vostro 3750 is a solid effort from Dell that packs in great performance and will cater to the needs of SMBs on a budget. The customisation options mean that business users can also tailor the laptop to their individual needs.

One would typically expect a 17-inch notebook with a high end CPU and GPU to cost a bomb, but oddly that’s not the case here. You’ll be pleasantly surprised to know that the Vostro 3750 with all the bells and whistles will cost you a reasonable Rs. 60,900 which makes it cheaper than the Vostro V130. This is very good pricing on Dell's part and makes the Vostro a good option for someone looking for a desktop replacement with good productivity and multimedia features. There are a couple of things that are stopping this notebook from being really good like the annoying trackpad and the below average battery life. Still, this doesn’t take away from the fact that it’s a really good notebook and worth a buy.

80% Review: Dell Vostro 3750 (Core i7-2360QM)

The Dell Vostro 3750 is a splendid desktop replacement and there is almost nothing that we did not like about it. The 17.3" anti-glare display is easy on the eyes, while the full sized ergonomic keyboard is a joy to use. The performance is top-notch as expected, thanks to the new and powerful components and technologies that go into building this laptop. Calling it a business laptop may not be entirely proper, because the only thing that we may relate to a "business laptop" is the fingerprint scanner, while other features such as TPM are absent. The 2.1 speaker system is loud and clear enough that this laptop serves as an excellent entertainment device. The switchable graphics and energy efficient components make sure that this laptop has a good battery life for its size.

17.3": Meanwhile the 17 inch display size is a more frequently offered standard format for desktop-replacements. The DTR-laptops can't be carried easily, need much energy but on the other side texts can be read easily and high resolutions are no problem. DTR mainly are intended for stationary usage on desks, where the weight and the energy need are unimportant.

3.02 kg: This weight is average for notebooks. Therefore the numerous mass of laptops with 15 inch display fits in this class of weight.
