Dell Latitude 10 Windows 8 tablet leaked

A glimpse of the latest Dell tablet revealed, which also includes the system information about the tablet too

Earlier Dell had decided to leave the tablet market and even stopped manufacturing their models. But with Microsoft deciding to enter the tablet market Dell has again decided to get back into the competition. This was even getting clearer that Dell was planning the launch a Windows 8 tablet soon after the release of the Windows 8 version.

Now a recent release of a slide shows Dells 10inch tablet along with its specification. According to the slide the tablet features a 10.1inch HD capacitive touch screen which is capable of providing a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels and will be called as Dell Latitude 10.

It will be powered by an Intel Clover Trail Atom Dual core processor and will run on Microsoft Windows 8. The device will also have an integrated Graphics and will have a 2GB RAM. For storage it will have 12GB of SSD.

Other important specifications included with the device are as WLAN + Bluetooth and Mobile Broadband options. It seems like the tablet has two types of batteries of 2cell and a 4cell battery which will be swappable. It will also include a micro USB port which can be used for communication as well as charging. It features an 8 Megapixel rear camera and a 2 megapixel front camera.

The dimensions of the tablet will measure around 10.1x7x.04 inches. The Latitude weighs around 1.57lbs. Apart from all these specifications the tablet also seems to have standard security features which include TPM, lock slot, Optional: Integrated fingerprinting reader/ smart card reader, Bit locker and Dell Data Protection.
