Reviews for the Datawind Ubisurfer
Source: PC Advisor

Small enough to carry with you everywhere and coming with a year's free internet access, the Datawind Ubisurfer promises to be the ultimate netbook. But technology enthusiasts are likely to find it extremely frustrating. We’re not technology snobs – there is a market for a low-end netbook that provides access to the web and little else for £160, particularly given that 12 months of internet access is provided as part of the deal. But the Ubisurfer makes too many sacrifices at this stage for us to recommend it.

7.0": This is one of the smallest formats, which is used for UMPC, Netbooks or Subotebooks. There hardly exist any models with this display format. Working for a long time is uncomfortable. This tiny display is intended for outdoor usage.
The advantage is, that the mini-notebook can be small dimensioned and can be carried easily. Further the tiny display has the advantage, that it needs few energy, which improves the battery runtime and in consequence the mobility. The disadvantage is that the reading of texts is very exhausting for the eyes. High resolutions can hardly be used.
