Chuwi SurPad: An Android tablet with a 10.1-inch display, LTE connectivity, a detachable keyboard, pen support and a large battery for US$249
Chuwi has unveiled its latest tablet, which it has called the SurPad. Currently, the company sells the SurPad directly or on Amazon, where it retails for US$249 with a detachable keyboard. By contrast, Chuwi sells the SurPad for US$269 on its website, but it bundles a keyboard and an active stylus.
The SurPad has a 10.1-inch IPS display that resolves at 1,920 x 1,200 pixels, which Chuwi has backed with a MediaTek Helio P60 chipset and 4 GB of RAM. Android 10 comes pre-loaded on the tablet's 128 GB of storage, but there is also a microSD card reader should you need more than that.
Moreover, Chuwi has equipped the SurPad with two 8 MP cameras situated on the front and back of the device. There is also an 8,000 mAh battery, a USB Type-C port for charging it and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. Meanwhile, the detachable keyboard connects via five pins on the tablet's underside, and there is a nano-SIM card slot should you wish to enable LTE connectivity.
