Cedar Trail powered HP Mini 210 now selling in the US

HP starts selling their latest Mini 210 Netbook in the US for $299, which runs on a Cedar trail processor

HP has recently started selling their latest HP Mini 210 Netbook running on the Cedar Trail processor. This latest model of Netbook is now made available in the US.

This Netbook is powered by an Intel Atom N2600 processor which has a clock speed of about 1.6GHz. Atom N2800 a higher clocked processor has also been kept as an option for the users who needs a higher processor speed. Atom N2800 has a clock speed of 1.83GHz.

The 10.1inch LED backlit-display is about 1024x600pixels resolution however, HP also has provided the option to opt for the 1366x768pixels resolution with this new Netbook.

The Mini 210 comes with a Windows 7 Starter which can also be upgraded to Home premium 32-bit. This model is equipped with storage ranging up to 500GB and RAM can be upgraded up to 2GB. The keyboard provided is 93% of the full size textured and spill-resistant.

Other regular specifications of a Netbook are also included with the device like 10/100 LAN, 802.11b/g/n, Wi-Fi, webcam and multi-format card reader. A six celled battery powers the device and promises to provide a backup up to 8.75 hours of uptime.

The Netbook has also been made available in different colors other than default charcoal color like Ocean Drive, Crimson Red, and Sweet Purple. The device is priced at $299 for the basic model with N2600 as the processor while the variant with N2800 processor will cost about $35 more than the other one.

If you are waiting for some Netbook with a good performance, then this might be the Netbook you are waiting for as this model will have a good processing speed and will also be able to play HD videos with ease. Apart from that the 1366x768pixels option in this Netbook might be another reason for the customers to opt for this device.
