Although most of us might believe the era of the Netbook is over with the dominating market of the tablets, but Netbook has always been a cheaper counterpart of the notebooks. There are also some consumers who may go for a Netbook because of its low price.
For all those consumers a new option has just been released by Asus. The new model they have brought to the consumers is named as Eee PC 1225B, which is powered by Windows 7 Home Premium. The Netbook also contains an 11.6inch display and runs on a Fusion E-450 APU which provides a speed of 1.65GHz.
There is also an option for the consumers to choose between the Fusion chip and a dual-core C60 1GHz chip as well. This model has AMD’s Brazos platform and an ATI Radeon HD 6320/6290 integrated Graphics processor. This model is also said to have a DirectX 11 support, which is really quite new for a Netbook.
Along with the choice of processors, the HDD is also made available with three choices of 320, 500 or 750GB HDD. The other important specifications included with this model are Bluetooth 3.0, DLNA support (for wireless media support) and 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi all of them for connectivity.
While other specifications are 0.3MP webcam, a VGA output, two USB 3.0 and one USB 2.0, an Ethernet port, audio jack and also a card reader.
