Asus to show off five new netbooks at CeBIT

ASUS to add five more devices to their Eee PC Netbook line which are expected to be displayed at CeBit trade show

ASUS seems to be planning to release five of its new Eee PC Notebooks at the upcoming CeBit Tradeshow. These five models to be launched are named as the Eee PC 1011CX, Eee PC X101CH, two versions of the Eee PC 1015BX Modelle and Eee PC 1025C.

All these models are mostly of 1GB RAM with a Hard Disk Drive of 320GB. These models mainly differ with their processors from each other as X101CH and 1011CX are integrated with Intel’s Atom N2600 processor, while the 1025C is equipped with an Intel Atom N2800 processor. The 1015BX will use some AMD processor which may be a C50 or a C60 processor.

These Netbook models will come with mainly two operating systems which enable them to be used for hybrid operation. The two operating systems will include the Windows 7 Starter, which will be the main OS and the lean Express Gate OS. The Express Gate OS will be mainly enabling only the basic software as Firefox, Skype, Media-Player and Messenger.  

Another new Netbook is also on its way the Eee PC 1225B/C, which is expected to have an 11.6 inch display and will be capable of providing a 1366x768 pixel of resolution. Although the processor equipped with the Netbooks is not declared but it is expected to be Intel’s Atom N2600 or AMD’s E450. They will have 2GB of RAM.

Till now there has been no update on the pricing of these Netbooks.
