Six new Zenfone4 models were leaked on the Asus Zentalk forum and are ready to be launched in July.

Even though the Zenfone 4 series was supposed to be unveiled at Computex in May, Asus CEO Jerry Shen confirmed earlier this month that the new smartphone lineup will be available in July. A recent leak on the Asus Zentalk forum sheds some light on the upcoming models of the series. As of now there are six new models ready to be launched: Zenfone 4 Max, Zenfone 4 Pro, Zenfone 4 Selfie and 3 versions of the Zenfone 4 flagship model. All these new models have been already approved for Google services specs.

The leak does not reveal too many things about the new models. The only model that has all its specs revealed is the Zenfone 4 Selfie, which is included in the GFXBench database. As the image below reveals, the Selfie will come equipped with a 5.5" 1080p display, an octa-core Cortex A53 CPU clocked at 2.0 GHz, a Qualcomm Adreno 506 GPU and 3.5 GB of RAM. The most surprising feature is the 4K (UHD) recording resolution for both front and back cameras.

Zenfone 4 Max (ASUS_X00ID) is expected to have a large capacity battery but midrange specs, just like its predecessor, the Zenfone 3 Max. ASUS_Z01GD aka Zenfone 4 Pro is a new addition to the series, but no other details have been revealed as of yet. The other three models seem to be Zenfone 4 variants. The 4V model is said to be exclusive to Verizon's network. All these models are expected to be launched by the end of July.
