Ahead of its July 5 global debut, new leaks have now revealed details of the Asus ROG Phone 6, including major specifications and expected pricing of the gaming phone in Europe. The ROG Phone 6 will debut with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 and could be the first phone to do so.

Set to debut on July 5, Asus has slowly teased key features of the ROG Phone 6. As expected, however, details of the phone have now also leaked, almost in full, providing expectant fans with the clearest image yet of what the ROG Phone 6 will deliver when it debuts next month.

As revealed by Digital Chat Station, the Asus ROG Phone 6 will feature a  6.78-inch FHD+ 165 Hz AMOLED made by Samsung. Asus already confirmed the 165 Hz AMOLED bit weeks ago. Under the hood will be Qualcomm's new Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, which would likely make the ROG Phone 6 the first smartphone to be announced with that chipset. Rumors claimed the Xiaomi 12 Ultra would have that honor, although there's a chance the Xiaomi flagship goes on sale first.

Like the ROG Phone 5s Pro, the ROG Phone 6 will feature up to 18 GB of RAM. A 6000mAh battery is said to make an appearance as well, ditto 65 W fast charging. Leading the camera lineup will be a 64 MP shooter. Lastly, the ROG Phone 6 is tipped to measure in at a thickness of 10.39 mm while weighing 229g. That would make it slightly lighter than previous models in the series. Supposedly, the ROG Phone 6 will launch with an "approximate retail value" of €799—the same as last year's ROG Phone 5.
