Aorus X7 is now available in the US
The Aorus X7 gaming laptop built by Gigabyte has recently arrived at Newegg and packs a lot of power in a very slim form factor - Intel Haswell processor, NVIDIA SLI graphics, Windows 8.1 and a lot of storage.
According to a Gigabyte insider interviewed by Tom's Hardware UK, "AORUS is targeting on the enthusiast user, while Gigabyte covers more for light use and the general gamer.(..) AORUS is mainly focusing on how to bring the gamer the best gaming experience."
The variant of the Aorus X7 gaming laptop currently listed by Newegg is labeled Aorus X7-CF1 and consists of the following:

- Memory/Storage: 16 GB DDR3, up to 32 GB DDR3-1600; 1 TB 5400 rpm HDD and 2X128 GB SSDs

- Graphics adapter: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 765M SLI with 2X2 GB GDDR5
- Audio: AORUS Acoustic technology with 2X2W HD speakers and 2 subwoofers

Gigabyte's Aorus X7 also features a backlit keyboard and comes covered by a limited warranty of one year (labour and parts). Pricing starts at $2,099 but unfortunately Newegg already lists the item as "Currently Sold Out," which proves that Aorus X7 managed to become a hit almost instantly.
