Realme's upcoming flagship smartphone, the Realme GT 2 Pro, has made its first AnTuTu appearance. A Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC powers the device, so it managed to net a score of 1,025,215 points. Realme is expected to unveil the GT 2 Pro sometime in early 2022.

2022 is expected to herald an entirely new era of mobile SoCs from Qualcomm, MediaTek and Exynos chipsets. Unfortunately, we have to wait until February to see the Dimensity 9000 and Exynos 2200 in action. However, Qualcomm's confusingly-named Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 is expected to hit shelves a lot sooner. It is likely to debut alongside the Xiaomi 12 series and other Chinese-origin devices. One such smartphone, the Realme GT 2 Pro, has shown up on AnTuTu running what appears to be the next-generation Qualcomm SoC.

Weibo veteran Digital Chat Station stumbled upon the Realme GT 2 Pro (model number RMX3300) on AnTuTu, where it managed to score a total of 1,025,215 points. The Weibo post only mentions the total score and the model number, so it's hard to tell what each component scored individually. Nonetheless, the one million+ AnTuTu score sits in line with an earlier Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 showing, effectively confirming rumours about the Realme GT 2 Pro's specifications.

Other rumoured Realme GT 2 Pro specs include a 120Hz AMOLED screen, 50MP primary camera sensor with OIS, and a 4,400mAh battery that could support 125W fast charging. It is an incremental upgrade over its predecessor, the Realme GT, and is likely to be priced as such. We should find out more once its early 2022 launch date approaches.
