This is the company's first Windows 10 slate and features an 8-inch display, GPS, TV remote control capabilities, as well as voice call support.

Alcatel OneTouch usually launches quite a few products during the big international consumer electronics shows and this year's CES is no exception. In addition to the full line of affordable Pixi 4 handsets and the CareTime watch for children, the company also unveils its first Alcatel OneTouch tablet powered by Windows Mobile, namely the Pixi 3 8.

According to Alcatel OneTouch, the Pixi 3 8 is an entry-level slate that comes loaded with Windows 10 Mobile. Its set of features includes TV remote control, GPS and 4G connectivity, voice calling, as well as both front and rear cameras. Unfortunately, no other specs have been uncovered yet, but since this is an affordable device, the specs should match the price, so do not expect any surprises. The Pixi 3 8 has an 8-inch display that will probably offer full HD resolution or less, and we expect it to have a mid-range quad-core Qualcomm processor and 1 GB of memory.

Alcatel OneTouch Pixi 3 8 is on display at CES 2016 in Central Hall, stands 9829 and 9840. Information regarding price, availability, and other details should become available these days, so stay tuned.
