60% Alcatel One Touch Idol Ultra Review
Source: Tech2.in.com English
The One Touch Idol Ultra had all the makings of a very good handset, but the minor issues and niggles stop it from achieving its goal. Apart from the good looks and build quality, there’s nothing else that really stands out. The display produces good colours, but the sensitivity of the screen should have been better. This issue creeps up when using the phone or even typing. The lack of a standard headphone jack is also a deal breaker. Finally, given the price, we expect GLONASS, the ability to do 1080p and a scratch resistant glass as standard. The handset could have used a more powerful dual-core chipset, if not a quad-core.

The Alcatel One Touch Idol delivers a lightweight design and good audio quality for an unsubsidized phone at this price. We also appreciate the multiple fun color options. And while the 1-GHz dual-core MT6577 processor isn't the most powerful, the fact that this handset doesn't use a heavily skinned version of Android makes it feel snappier than some competing smartphones.

100% Alcatel One Touch Idol S review
Source: Expert Reviews English
The Alcatel One Touch Idol S is a seriously impressive phone for the price. It's a shame there's not more storage space, but its excellent battery life and smart design make it a joy to use. It's very hard to choose between this handset and the Moto G. The G is very slightly faster and has 8GB of internal storage, but there's no microSD card slot, while the Idol S has stingy internal memory but expandable storage, and is available on a £19-per-month 4G contract from EE. The One Touch Idol S's slimline proportions and 4G connectivity just push the G into second place, though - it's our new budget champion and a Best Buy.

Alcatel One Touch Idol Mini

The Alcatel One Touch Idol Mini might fit easily in the hand but it is big on style and features. There a four colors to choose from; cranberry pink, metallic red, slate and silver. Made to look premium and classy, the metallic brushed finish and color combinations will certainly individualize the device to its owner. There are 2 variants of the Alcatel One Touch Idol Mini; a single SIM and a dual SIM version.

The display on the smartphone is a 4.3 inches FWVGA IPS panel that delivers good quality images. The Android 4.2 Jelly Bean device comes with a dual core 1.3 GHz processor, 512 MB RAM and either 8 GB or 4 GB internal storage depending on the version. The limited internal storage can be expanded up to 32 GB using a MicroSD card. The image capture capability is rather good with its rear 5 MP auto focus camera and the device also includes a front facing VGA camera.

Other features include A-GPS for navigation, Bluetooth 4.0, E-compass and G-sensor. The Alcatel One Touch Idol Mini also comes packed with games such as Asphalt7, Wonder Zoo, Little Big City and much more. Battery live is impressive with up to 20 hours talk time using a 1700 mAh lithium cell.

Alcatel OneTouch Idol Mini review
Source: Pocket Lint English
The Alcatel OneTouch Idol Mini does a good job of disguising its budget asking price by delivering a slim, good-looking smartphone package. It's the look that's among the phone's strongest traits. In that respect the Idol Mini ticks a box and for £80 it's hard to complain. But the sheer strength of the Moto E and the EE Kestrel's 4G connectivity see the Idol Mini fall a step behind where it could be, with all eyes falling on its follow-up due in the coming months.

Alcatel OneTouch Idol Alpha: The smartphone with selfie lighting (hands-on)
Source: Pocket Lint English
The Alcatel OneTouch Alpha is an attractive smartphone. It's slim, premium and strong with that metallic frame and looks futuristic with the Deco lighting. The operating system, front-facing camera and screen resolution might put some people off. But for the £285 price this phone offers a lot.

77.2%: This rating is not convincing. The laptop is evaluated below average, this is not really a recommendation for purchase.
