70% Acer TravelMate TimelineX 8572G notebook
Source: Good Gear Guide English
Because it's a business notebook, the TimelineX 8572G doesn't have consumer staples such as HDMI output, you don't get an ExpressCard expansion slot, and it's missing modern ports such as eSATA, USB 3.0 or DisplayPort. Instead, you get four USB 2.0 ports, a VGA port, a DVD burner, an SD card slot, Gigabit Ethernet, microphone and headphone port, and also a built-in 56Kbps modem.

Modern games should be playable with these graphics cards at low settings and resolutions. Casual gamers may be happy with these cards.

NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M: The Nvidia GeForce GT 330M is the successor of the GT 230M and technically just a slightly higher clocked GT 240M (but it should still maintain the power envelope of the GT 230M as the naming suggests).

Intel Core i7: The Intel Core i7 for laptops is based on the LG1156 Core i5/i7 CPU for desktops. The base clock speed of the CPUs is relatively low, but because of a huge Turbo mode, the cores can dynamically overclock to up to 3.2 GHz (920XM). Therefore, the CPU can be as fast as high clocked dual-core CPUs (using single threaded applications) but still offer the advantage of 4 cores. Because of the large TDP of 45 W / 55 W, the CPU is only intended for large laptops.

620M:

The Core i7-620M is the fastest Dual-Core CPU for laptops (at the time of introduction in Q1 2010). The 620M clocks betwenn 2.66 and 3.33 GHz due to the Turbo Mode and because of Hyperthreading, 4 threads are executed simultaneously. In the package, Intel also included a second die with an integrated GPU (GMA HD) and a memory controller. Therefore, the TDP of 35 Watt of the whole package is still quite good.

2.4 kg:

Usually subnotebooks, ultrabooks and quite lightweight laptops with 12-16 inch display-diagonal weigh as much.

70%: This rating is bad. Most notebooks are better rated. This is not a recommendation for purchase.
