The Acer Nitro XV252QF is a 24.5-inch gaming monitor with an exceptionally high refresh rate. According to Acer, the Nitro XV252QF can reach 390 Hz, dwarfing the refresh rates of most gaming monitors.

Acer has expanded its Nitro XV2 gaming monitor series with a few additions. In our opinion, the most exciting is the Nitro XV252QF, a 24.5-inch IPS-type monitor that has incredibly fast response times. According to Acer, the Nitro XV252QF has an AUO AHVA display that operates at 360 Hz and is overclockable to 390 Hz, should you need that 8.3% recurring refresh rate increase.

The Nitro XV252QF also has 0.5 ms response times (grey-to-grey) and a 400 cd/m² peak brightness, although Acer has not VESA certified the monitor. However, the Nitro XV252QF supports AMD FreeSync Premium and has a 1,000:1 contrast ratio.

The 1080p monitor has a tilt and height-adjustable stand too, along with dual 2 W speakers. The Nitro XV252QF is expected to retail for about £600, but it is worth noting that the monitor only has one DisplayPort connection. It is unclear when Acer will begin selling its 390 Hz monitor, though.
