Teaser
Acer releases the Acer Iconia A700 in Europe which runs on ICS but the price seems to be a bit high

As in 2012 most of the tablet manufacturers are planning for releasing powerful designs on the market, Acer has also released their new model to keep up the pace in the market with their competitors. The latest release of Acer called the Acer Iconia Tab A700, which they have already displayed at the CES held in Las Vegas.

This time they have officially released the device at an event in Hamburg. This model is mainly powered by a Tegra 3 quad-core processor. Its display is capable of providing 1080p and will run on Ice Cream Sandwich.

This 10 inch device has a 1920x1200 IPS panel for display along with most of the general specifications as HDMI capabilities, a USB host port, and also sports a 5MP rear camera. It runs on a 9800mAh battery which will be enough for this device to give a very good backup. For connectivity it is also equipped with all the essential interfaces as Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.

This model is with all the latest specifications that are made available with any of the tablet these days. But one thing that may be a point of concern with most of the consumers is its price tag that is set at about $720 in US dollar which in Europe will be about €549 for the 16 GB model. The 64GB model will cost about €749 which will make almost equal to a thousand US dollars.

We may expect the price to fluctuate up or down till the date it gets released in the market which will be in the second quarter. However, as most of the electronic products costs considerably more in Europe they may be quite cheaper than these exchange rates.
