Model: One of the newest laptops to come out this year was the Acer Aspire V 15 Nitro series. Acer brought out this exciting laptop with many upgraded features. It has a very bright Full HD, 15-inch screen. Moreover it has a full 4K colors, which is top of the line. The Acer boasts storage of 1 TB hard drive and an additional 128 GB SSD for much space for movies, pictures, games, and music. This laptop is very powerful with its Intel Core i7 processor, and an NViDIA GeForce GTX 950M graphics card. Thus, games run with at high to very high gaming settings. In addition, the laptop is very portable with 2.36 kg.
Furthermore, the laptop is beautifully. The fully aluminum and brushed metal gives it a very sleek design. With its very slim profile, it rivals the MacBook Pro Retina. In addition, it provides multiple USB ports and HDMI output along with a DVD drive and an SD card reader. The laptop also features a webcam, which is not the best of the best, but it gets the job done and can be used effortlessly with Skype or Facebook calling. Intel Core i7: The Intel Core i7 for laptops is based on the LG1156 Core i5/i7 CPU for desktops. The base clock speed of the CPUs is relatively low, but because of a huge Turbo mode, the cores can dynamically overclock to up to 3.2 GHz (920XM). Therefore, the CPU can be as fast as high clocked dual-core CPUs (using single threaded applications) but still offer the advantage of 4 cores. Because of the large TDP of 45 W / 55 W, the CPU is only intended for large laptops.
6500U: Skylake-based ULV dual-core processor for thin notebooks and ultrabooks. Offers an integrated HD Graphics 520 GPU and is manufactured in 14 nm.» Further information can be found in our Comparison of Mobile Processsors.
15.60":
15-inch display variants are the standard and are used for more than half of all laptops.
The reason for the popularity of mid-sized displays is that this size is reasonably easy on the eyes, often allows high resolutions and thus offers rich details on the screen, yet does not consume too much power and the devices can still be reasonably compact - simply the standard compromise.
