Acer Aspire One Happy now shipping

The Acer Aspire One Happy is up for grabs with its official launch and release in the UK and Europe.  Available in a bold new range of refreshing colors, the sad part is that the new Acer Aspire One Happy has actually nothing new in store, with it being slated to be very similar in function to earlier netbooks by Acer with no word on the HD playback card inside. Also the presence of a free PCI slot inside it is debatable; however industry experts are anticipating the slot to appear in future models.

The Aspire One Happy comes with two options to choose from as processors, with the optional dual core Atom N550 or the single core N475 processor. Both support DDR3 memory modules. Windows Experience Index rates the netbook at a score of 2.9, which is not too bad, considering that rating puts it in competition with other dual core Atom N550 netbooks.
