Acer: Acer Aspire TimelineX series gets new processor options

Teaser
The Acer Aspire TimelineX series gets faster while remaining light on your pocket

Acer laptops seem to be gearing up to the competition around, making its rivals sit back and feel the heat. What we’re talking about is the upgradation of the sleek and sexy TimelineX Series laptops by Acer that just recently hit the market.

The series has already been given a facelift with respect to its processing capabilities. The 11.6-inch Aspire TimelineX 1830T is now being revamped, with CPU options pertaining to ultra-low voltage Core i3, i5 and i7 CPUs being bundled along with the laptops. These will give significantly higher performance satisfaction than the ULV Celerons while consuming equally significant amount of less energy than the full-fledged core i-series.

This upgradation comes at a value for money basis with the Core i7 680UM-powered version (the 1830T-68U118) by Acer, available for a meager $900, as compared to the Lenovo IdeaPad U160 which would lighten your pocket by $1,000. This is while the Lenovo IdeaPad U160 provides nothing more than what the Core i7 680UM-powered version by Acer does.

Lower powered TimelineX machines undergoing processing upgradations to incorporate Core i3 and i5 processers will be available still cheaper, like the 13.3-inch 3820T, 14-inch 4820T and the 15.6-inch 5820T, slated to be priced around $700.

This refreshingly new, faster, more efficient range of the Acer TimelineX Series will be available for purchase across retail outlets soon. Until then keep a lookout for more updates on the same.
