ASUS UK confirms Eee Pad Transformer keyboard dock issues

Teaser
The manufacturer promised on its UK Facebook page that details on how to resolve the problem will follow shortly

A couple of months ago, ASUSTek officially launched the Eee Pad Transformer Tablet PC that can be purchased and used with an optional keyboard dock. Furthermore, the company has announced recently that this particular product is experiencing an extreme demand and could potentially turn out to be the top selling Android-based tablet on the market.

However, after a series of complaints from European and American customers, ASUS UK confirmed today on its Facebook page that users may encounter issues with the Transformer’s keyboard dock. Apparently, the power drain and charging problems can be resolved with the manufacturer promising to release more details (maybe even a fix) “shortly”.

“Apologies to anyone who has encountered issues with their Transformer keyboard dock (power drain and charging). The issue is related to the way we configured the device’s power management in/out of sleep mode. We will shortly be announcing details on how this will be resolved for our customers.”  ASUS United Kingdom
