AMD Ryzen 5 4500U-driven MINISFORUM HM50 mini PC now up for pre-order

Although today is the first day of April, the new MINISFORUM HM50 is as serious as it gets, and so is the US$100 discount for the first 50 orders. In terms of design, there is nothing special about this new mini PC. A few similar models, with both Intel and AMD processors, are already in MINISFORUM's portfolio.

The hardware specs include the AMD Ryzen 5 4500U processor, Radeon graphics, support for up to 64 GB of memory and flexible storage choices (M.2 2280 and two 2.5-inch SATA slots), Intel AX200 Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, support for three displays (HDMI, USB Type-C, DisplayPort). The body is just 55.5 mm (2.185 in) high and weighs 0.7 kg (1.54 lb).

The two variants up for pre-order come with 16/256 GB (US$699) and 16/512 GB (US$739) of memory/storage. As usual, the retail package comes with all the accessories needed to get started properly with the mini PC on a desk or on the back of a monitor, such as HDMI cable, VESA mount, and HDD holder.
