New OPPO devices have appeared on the NCC and Geekbench websites, leading to speculation that they are the global and Indian-market versions of the recently-launched Reno5. However, they are linked to a different, 4G-only SoC compared to the original phone of this name.

The Snapdragon 765G-powered OPPO Reno5 has launched in China alongside its Pro variant. Now, it seems that this 64MP quad camera phone may be headed for additional markets. However, it may no longer be 5G by the time it gets there.

The Taiwanese regulator NCC has reportedly certified a new device called the OPPO CPH2145. Despite its dissimilarity to the Reno5's model number (PEGM00), it is now thought to be its international variant.

Furthermore, the discovery of a similar number discovered on Geekbench (CPH2159) has resulted in speculation that it is the Indian variant of the same.

The NCC documentation does not tell us much about the phone, although Geekbench indicates that the latter, at least, has 8GB of RAM and runs Android 11 on a platform code-named atoll (the Snapdragon 720G).

Therefore, it might indeed be a new 4G-only Reno variant; then again, there is no other evidence that this is the case at present.
