New Motorola XOOM Family Edition tablet is on its way to get rolled into the market. Some tipsters from Engadget have taken a few snaps of the tab and its packaging. According to the packaging the tablet will be shipped with special child friendly software like Zoodles which is mainly designed for kid friendly education and entertainment.

As for specifications as the package says it will have a 1GHz dual-core processing chip and will be powered by Android 3.x Honeycomb platform. It will also have a 10.1inch screen with an HD display (probably would provide 1280x800pixels as it is common now for all the 10inch tablets).

Motorola seem to have named this mode MZ505 and might be planning to release this model by the holiday season. As the model is called the family edition there may be some more surprises hidden inside and which are not displayed on the package.

Though this family package is yet to be revealed for the customers so definitely nothing is known about the price neither the release date, but still it we can guess it is for the holiday season.
